The last stocking of rainbow trout took place on May 12 so fishing should pick up. Some areas are doing better than others so if you’re not having any luck try another spot. Look for clear water and use spinners or bright colored power bait.
Brook trout was also stocked in February.
Rainbow trout were stocked earlier in the month and 5 inch brook trout were stocked in late September. Rainbows are scheduled to be stocked again in the first week of November.
Catfish were stocked in June and 250 pounds of bluegill socked in March. Try using worms and mealworms on a line with a bobber. A small spinner may work as well.
